Mark Preece House 50/50 Draw Rules of Play

To be drawn at 191 Barton St. E, Hamilton, ON, L8L 2W7 on May 15, 2024 at 12pm

The lottery will take place from from April 1, 2024 at 12:00am until May 15, 2024 at 11:59pm.

Tickets will be available for online purchase at www.markpreecehouse.ca

Ticket prices are 1 (one) ticket for $15.00, 3 (three) tickets for $40.00, 5 (five) tickets for $60.00, and 10 (ten) tickets for $100.00

You must be 18 years or older at the time of purchase to play and must be located in the Province of Ontario at the time of purchase.

Unlimited tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Trellis.

After completing the purchase, the 50/50 tickets will be issued through a Random Selection supplied by Trellis and sent via email to the address provided by the purchaser. No specific numbers can be requested as numbers are generated randomly.

The winner will receive 50% of the total prize with the remainder going to support the charitable objectives of the Mark Preece Family House. The winner’s portion of the current 50/50 prize will be displayed on the website where tickets are purchased.

The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation system administered by Trellis from all the raffle tickets sold for that particular draw.

The winning ticket number will be announced on Mark Preece Family House’s social media channels.

The winning number will be announced via email or telephone within 24 hours using the email address and/or telephone number provided online at the time of purchase.

The winning ticket holder may make arrangements to claim their prize by contacting info@markpreecehouse.ca

The winning ticket holder will need to produce two pieces of identification, one of which must be a government-issued photo ID. The prize payment will be paid by cheque only – no cash.

The winner agrees to be named publicly, along with the prize value on the Mark Preece Family House website and on the organization’s social media channels.

The prize must be claimed by the individual named in the original purchase transaction.

The winning ticket holder has 6 (six) months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw.

If the winning ticket holder does not come forward, the number will remain posted on the indicated forums for 6 (six) months following the draw date.

Unclaimed 50/50 prizes will be securely held for 6 (six) months by the Mark Preece Family House administration, at which time the unclaimed proceeds will be donated to the Mark Preece Family House with approval of the Alcohol & Gaming Commission of Ontario.

The above set of Rules of Play will be posted wherever tickets are being sold.
