Thyme for Dinner

Bring your group together to cook a warm meal for families staying at the House.

THYME FOR DINNER

Cook a meal for families in times of crisis

After a long day at their loved one’s bedside, many guests simply do not have the time, energy, or means to shop for and prepare a nourishing meal. That’s where you come in, offering not just food, but a moment of relief, care, and comfort when it is needed most.

Our volunteer-supported meal program gives individuals, families, community groups, and businesses the opportunity to come together and prepare a warm, home-cooked meal for families staying at the House.

NOT SURE WHAT TO COOK?

Crowd-pleasers that always work

HOW IT WORKS

Three simple steps

1. Gather a Group

Bring together friends, family, co-workers, or teammates. It's a great team-building opportunity while giving back.

2. Book Your Date

Select your date, then provide your name, organization, contact information, and proposed menu. If you experience any issues using the calendar, please give us a call.

3. Plan & Prepare

Plan a menu for 30-35 people, buy the ingredients, and cook in our fully-equipped kitchen. Dinner is served between 6-7 p.m. Grocery costs are covered by your group.

You are not required to accommodate dietary restrictions. Simply prepare a hearty meal that a crowd will enjoy.

BOOK YOUR DINNER
