Financial Controller
The Financial Controller is responsible for developing, directing, and maintaining sound financial practices to ensure adequate funds are available to support the House’s operations, including future repairs and renovations.
Working closely with the Executive Director, Treasurer, and Finance Committee, the Financial Controller develops the annual budget for Board approval and ensures the House operates within established financial guidelines.
The Financial Controller provides financial oversight and reporting to the Finance Committee and, along with the Treasurer, acts as liaison to the external Auditor. They are responsible for maintaining financial records, monitoring internal controls, and recommending improvements to financial policies and procedures as needed.
